CORRECTION: Sera a candidate for County Court at Law Number 2 seat

In the Sunday, May 20 edition of the McKinney Courier-Gazette, it was incorrectly reported that Barnett Walker and Sharon Ramage are the only candidates running for the County Court at Law Number 2 judge's seat.


Gene Sera is also running for the position.

Sera has 13 years of criminal trial experience, including 11 in Collin County, and has prosecuted thousands of cases both as a prosecutor and a defense attorney.

He said that state Rep. Jodie Laubenberg, 11 Collin County mayors, more than 30 precinct chairs, prosecutors, defense attorneys and police officers have endorsed him, and that he is the only candidate in this race approved by both the North Texas Tea Party and the Texas Tea Party Alliance.

Early voting for the County Court at Law Number 2 seat, and for other county seats, runs through Friday, May 25.

The McKinney Courier-Gazette regrets this error.
